I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix

and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here

support!!! let's make this section be our english corner,just like our english corner in university.
: U$ q1 L" w& c) xperhaps,somebody who came here dare not to use english ,but I  think ,in this  speacial world-----a  "we do'nt know who and who ,we can't  see each other "world, they can be relax and try to practice. if our english corner are as flourishing as our chinese section, i think more thai will come here and we will get more information and make more and more friends.
I'm here waiting for the boom of our english corner!!!!!!
